| Fifty thousand years ago, a mighty avatar grained tramendous power and was allow to assend to the heights of the Gods. Desiding that there needed to be a kingdom up above the world, but not so far as to where no one could get too, he decided to use his powers to create the Wind Kingdom above the ever warring contenent of Divide. He was a benevolent ruler, eventually taking a wife and having a family. Though he laid claim to the entire sky, the only true ownership is as far as his eye could see. Upon this kingdom of the wind, a massive cloud was created and solidified so that the new god could have a place for his people, and eventual family. But nothing lasts forever, and after twenty thousand years, the 'god' fell from grace and died naturally. His thrown was passed on down to his son, who also fell from grace after a time. Now the kingdom is with it's fourth ruler, the great-grandson of the first Wind Kingdom lord.

And though it was sad day that she died, he knew that he had an important task. Using the marriage alliance with the Stone Kingdom, Strife kept peace within his realm and strengthened his kingdom's position, expanding the rule over all of Divide's skies, thanks to to his brother-in-law, Skyler Khan.

| Gold and 'cloud' pillars line the gates to this beautiful palace. Here the winged guards watch over the entrance, both upon the ground and in the air upon the towers themselves.

From the court yard one could take the stairs to the palace doors, or to the walls and towers that line the area.

It is a beautiful site, with many terraces and walkways down the 'cloud' to watch the falls. It is also a dangerous place for when the wind suddenly picks up.

| Wards inbedded into the stone clouds keep out demons, though the wards look like decorative artwork. This grand hall can fit over ten thousand people comfortably, which is good for when they have balls and celebrations here.

On a few occations their palace has been attacked, but so few can get to it that it is almost futile. Within the treasury is great items of power. What though, only the royal family knows.

| A simple road, followed by a small entrance gate that never closes. Here the guards are stationed, but that is more to keep children from running over the edge.
